Joanna Baron’s partner is a prominent tax expert, and by his side, she leads a peaceful existence in a chic neighborhood in a town in the Paris area.

But when her partner is arrested for criminal conspiracy and money laundering, this mother of three finds her life upended. With no money or place to live, she is forced to move to a low-income housing complex on the wrong side of the highway.
