In The Shadow of the Wolf
An out-of-the-mould cop tracks, step by step, the shadow of the wolf…
Some cases drag you out of apathy…
In Rennes, the new police detective Hubert Grimm takes on an all-absorbing case and becomes obsessed with his investigation : a prominent figure, the unpleasant and scornful Mr Kerdegat, is receiving anonymous phone calls and letters. Then a man on a moped is hanging outside his house and seems to be tracking his every move and word.
Until the day when Kerdegat’s employee discovers a dismembered body on the doorstep of the family home. The severed head is nowhere to be found…
The investigation takes a terrifying turn. Hubert Grimm starts to uncover the complex background to what was in the beginning a simple case of anonymous calls and letters: a sadomasochistic club, coded messages, sinister smokescreens. And a family torn apart.
A single case terrifying a whole town…
